Davide Petrillo serves as the Managing Director for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). He brings extensive international experience across the aerospace sector, having previously led Voyager Space Europe as Managing Director in Torino, after earlier roles as Business Manager at Alten Ltd in London and Business Analyst at Accenture in Milano. Davide was also elected Vice President for Education and Workforce Development of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) in 2021. From 2020 to April 2023, he served as Executive Director of the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), guiding one of the world’s largest young‑professional space networks through a period of significant growth. Davide’s early career included leading the FELDs experiment selected by the European Space Agency (ESA) for the Drop Your Thesis! 2014 program. In 2015, he and his team received the IAF Hans von Muldau Team Award for best team project at the 66th International Astronautical Congress (IAC). Davide holds an M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Padova, Italy.
