Domenico Mignolo has joined the European Space Agency (European Space Research and Technology Centre – ESTEC, Noordwijk, the Netherlands) in 2002. At ESA Domenico is currently the Head of Technologies and Products Division managing the ARTES Core Competitiveness programme in the ESA Connectivity and Secure Communications Directorate. In his career at ESA, he has been technical officer of several satellite systems, ground and user segment development projects as well as involved in standardization activities supported by the Agency. He also contributed to the initiation of several new programmes and Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects. He is author of several international publications in the field of SATCOM system and communication protocols.
