Merek Chertkow is the CEO and Co-Founder of The Radiation Team, LLC, a radiation engineering firm supporting commercial and government space programs. With a background in physics and prior experience leading radiation efforts at SpaceX and Blue Origin, Merek played a key role in developing radiation qualification strategies that were adopted across multiple flight programs and approved by NASA, the Air Force, and The Aerospace Corporation. Under his leadership, The Radiation Team has supported many space programs, delivering critical optimizations from EEE parts selection to system-level mitigations. Merek now leads a multidisciplinary team of electrical, software, test, and radiation engineers focused on applying modern analysis and testing techniques to build space systems that are resilient to radiation effects and aligned with mission success criteria.
