Michel Keuning directs the space activities of Royal NLR. He has 30 years of experience in a wide range of aerospace research, focusing on managing space activities for the last 12 years. Besides being part of the management team of NLR, he is also member of the board of SpaceNed. SpaceNed is the Dutch trade association for space related companies, research institutes and educational institutes. NLR has been an ambitious applied research organisation for over 100 years, driven to make aerospace more sustainable, safer, efficient and effective through innovation. Our space research is focused around: communication, navigation, earth observation, space traffic management, satellites and launch vehicles, science and exploration, and in-orbit activities. These domains form the backbone of our innovative projects, where we collaborate intensively with government, industry, and knowledge partners. We translate research insights into applicable, forward-looking solutions. Thus, we make a concrete contribution to a strong, autonomous, and resilient space sector.
