Dr. Polyzois (Zois) Kokkonis is the business development manager for satellite communications for the OHB Group, a European space and technology Group and one of the major independent forces in this industry. He has over 20 years of experience in software and telecommunications, working with major technology vendors and scaleups. After leading software development and system architecture teams, he turned into product and business development management for several worldwide deployed solutions. In 2021 he took the opportunity to shift to the space industry, which is rapidly transforming, first with the European Space Agency and since 2025 with the OHB group. Zois holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Athens in Greece and a Ph.D. from the University of Münster, as well as an M.B.A. degree from the Hellenic Open University.
