Arcsec is a spinoff company of the KUL University in Belgium that develops attitude determination and control systems for Small Satellites. The main product line of arcsec are their star trackers. These compact, high-accurate attitude determination sensors are being given a secondary functionality as space-based RSO detection and characterization sensors. With this project, arcsec is taking the lead in developing a novel generation of star trackers that contribute to tackling the issue of space debris. This approach is highly scalable, both economically as operationally.
