GENESIA is an optical instrument manufacturer based in Tokyo. We develop advanced optical systems, including UV/VIS/IR optical systems for aerospace vehicles and high-energy facilities and hyper and multispectral imagers.
We have developed over 50 spaceborne optical instruments for a wide range of wavelengths, from deep ultraviolet to visible and thermal infrared.
These instruments have been used in various missions such as Earth observation, solar observation, and deep space exploration. In addition, the star trackers we also developed have flight experience.
One of our key products is the Liquid Crystal Tunable Filter (LCTF). The LCTF is a liquid-crystal-based filter that enables wavelength tuning of transmitted light by controlling the applied voltage. This technology allows flexible spectral selection without the need for multiple physical filters, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
